Veo 3.1 AI Video Generator: Image to Video with Sound

All three Veo versions here can generate sound and output 720p or 1080p in 16:9 or 9:16. The differences:

A last frame tells Veo where to end, and it fills in the movement between. The closer the two images are, the cleaner the transition.

• Use two photos of the same subject in the same light. A day shot and a night shot will morph.
• Keep the camera path believable: wide to close-up, or a short move to the side.
• Test the first frame alone first. If that clip already looks wrong, the last frame won’t fix it.
• Check the middle of the clip, where shapes are most likely to stretch.

Put sound in its own sentence and name specific sources. ‘Footsteps on gravel, wind in the trees, no music’ works better than ‘cinematic audio’. Limits to plan around: clips top out at 8 seconds (12 with Veo 3.1 Fast), only 16:9 and 9:16 are available, and text inside the scene, like signs or labels, can come out garbled.

Veo 3.1 and Veo 3 cost the same per second at 720p and 1080p, so there’s no reason to pick the lower resolution to save credits. Veo 3.1 Fast costs half as much per second as Veo 3.1. Turning on audio raises the price for every Veo version, and the generator shows the new total before you submit.
